- Comment: A lot of the sources (and there are a lot of sources...) don't contribute towards notability per WP:ORG, being routine business reporting, passing mentions, etc., but I think enough of them do to make this notable.Consequently, I'm about to accept this draft, just waiting for the redir at Walton Family Foundation to be speedied. - Comment: Hello editors, I'm an employee of the Walton family office. I'm submitting this draft article for the Walton Family Foundation for review due to my paid conflict of interest. The Walton Family Foundation has received significant coverage over the years and I think meets the notability guidelines for an organization. I've prepared this draft using third-party sources that I hope show it qualifies for an article. If there are any questions, I am happy to address them. Thanks for the review. Logo addition
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hi, I'm an employee of the Walton family office, and initially submitted this article for review. Because I have a conflict of interest, I do not make any direct edits.
I uploaded the foundation's logo and would like to ask editors to add it to the Infobox.
@GRuban: Tagging you in case you're available to review and implement this edit. Also thought you'd like to know that I have checked about images for the article and at this time don't have any to donate but will let you know if that changes. Thanks! ~~~~ Kt2011 (Talk · COI:Walton family) 20:19, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Will probably do tomorrow, however, when I do, since it's apparently three words in a simple font and three rectangles, I'll probably put it on Wikimedia Commons under Template:PD-textlogo:
This image or logo only consists of typefaces, individual words, slogans, or simple geometric shapes. These are not eligible for copyright alone because they are not original enough, and thus the logo is considered to be in the public domain. See Wikipedia:Public domain § Fonts or Wikipedia:Restricted materials for more information. Please note: The public domain status of this work is only in regards to its copyright status. There may be other intellectual property restrictions protecting this image, such as trademarks or design patents if it is a logo. |
. Am I missing something? --GRuban (talk) 21:30, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Kt2011: Added SVG logo to Commons and the article. Do you, by chance, know the creation date of the logo? I am guessing May 2018, since that was when it changed on the website, but perhaps you know better? --GRuban (talk) 13:57, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- @GRuban: The logo was created in January 2016, I don't have an exact day of the month, though. Thank you for taking care of all of that! Kt2011 (Talk · COI:Walton family) 14:21, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
