Aftermath

[edit]

I just reverted a deletion of content from this section because the deleted text seemed relevant and appropriate - but I'd be happy to discuss why the content should be deleted. (The comment accompanying the deletion is "The reduction of french forces is a complication for the final article in this series.") (I think that without the deleted text the reader might have the impression that the fighting was all over by 8 July)

The first sentence of the section covers that "In the following week (2–7 July) the French army would capitulate and agree to leave Paris under a ceasefire. We can expand it if you like to something like "July), after further fighting the French". As a point of fact the campaign against the fortresses are not really part of the Waterloo Campaign because much of the heaviest fighting against the fortresses involved forces covered in "minor campaigns of 1815. -- PBS (talk) 08:36, 22 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gilgamesh4 I see you have made only one edit since I posted my previous comment. So I will wait a few more days before making an edit. -- PBS (talk) 09:27, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@PBS - Apologies for the delay - distracted by work stuff - That suggested edit looks fine to me - thanks Gilgamesh4 (talk) 07:17, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
