Notability

[edit]

Wikipedia has policies about what is included, primary schools rarely can prove they WP:GNG. This a massive challenge- and a lot of work will need to be done to prove this outstanding school is globally notable. --ClemRutter (talk) 09:44, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @ClemRutter: Thanks for your comment. I did realise as I was creating this that I was probably pushing my luck with regards to notability, but I thought I'd give it a go at least — nothing ventured, nothing gained, and all that. :)
As to your comment on the Talk:Icknield Community College page about merging this article with that, I don't know how that would work, given that the two schools are very much separate entities, albeit being adjacently located (and now also part of the same academy chain, as I discovered today)? Cheers, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:20, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing: Have a look at Icknield Community College/sandbox- yes we have sandboxes which members of our bubble can play in!. We use the |module = {{infobox syntax to embed another infobox- . I leave you to work out the finer points. Independent schools often do this to embed a related prep school. The article itself is also simple- just copy over the lead. The History section can be shared, when you get to the section ==Academics== You explain that these are run as separate schools, then do a subsection for secondary, philosophy, KS3, KS4, KS5 etc, then primary, reception KS1, KS2. Off we go- its your article ClemRutter (talk) 15:45, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
