I deleted the comment that said Annabel Goldie was the most high profile MSP in the West of Scotland region. This is purely a matter of personal opinion from somebody, not encyclopedic fact. It's virtually impossible to measure how high profile somebody is.
It could be argued that Stewart Maxwell or Ross Finnie as former ministers, Wendy Alexander as a former minister and opposition leader, or Trish Godman as a current Deputy Presiding Officer are all "high profile" too. It is not to say Ms Goldie doesn't have a high profile, as a party leader she certainly does, but as leader of a small minority party, no more so than other MSP's in the region.
