Where is west end of the road?

[edit]

The article says the road starts at the east side of the York Road roundabout but several maps e.g. Geographers' London Atlas (2000) and http://www.londontown.com/LondonStreets/westminster_bridge_road_71b.html#MAP, show the connection from the Bridge to the roundabout as Westminster Bridge Road. It was that before the roundabout with its short-lived tram-tracks was built for the Festival of Britain. On the other side of the river the short road up to the bridge has its own name, Bridge Street. Moreover WP can hardly be used commonly to list all "nearby" places of interest for roads it mentions so why list The Florence Nightingale Museum, address 2 Lambeth Palace Rd, in the SW corner of the road intersection and so without even a wall on Westminster Bridge Road as "defined" by the article?--SilasW (talk) 10:43, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
