Almost every source fails verification

I checked the current revision against the original July 2009 draft (pinging @M2545:) and the article prose and citations are mostly identical, but almost everything, including direct quotes, are simply not anywhere in the sources cited (according to full-text online copies of the same dates), with the exception of Old landmarks and historic personages of Boston, which is correctly quoted. The old town-house doesn't even mention taverns of any sort.

Assuming good faith, the author may have jumbled their sources, so they are pinged to clear it up. Meanwhile much of this article has to be deleted. SamuelRiv (talk) 17:15, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
