79.155.75.136 (talk) 21:35, 11 February 2018 (UTC) Please correct the article, it's totally wrong. The Accord was firmed in 1793 not in 1794! Also Malouet firmed it separately and later than the rest of the French. Here is the proof link: http://www.persee.fr/docAsPDF/outre_0300-9513_1962_num_49_176_1358.pdf Look pages 293 and 311.[reply]

The signatory Ignace Joseph de Perpigna (NOT 'de Perpignan') was entered in the records of the Conseil de Martinique (a Google book, among other things) as of noble status from 1735. Doesn't rule out that he also may have had interests in guadeloupe, of course. It may be worth noting that a J de Perpigna owned the DEMERARA plantation Malgre Tout until at least 1816 and possibly into the 1820s, since the Demerara Gazette records the renewal of a mortgage on it by de Perpigna - or possibly his estate - with Boddaert of Middelburg in 1816.Delahays (talk) 07:55, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Title and date is wrong.

As the user above indicated, the Treaty was signed in 1793, not 1794. I do not have enough Wikipedia saaviness to figure out how to fix this, but someone should. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.61.29.114 (talk) 14:56, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
