Comment
Can't see why Vollman would be anymore Pynchon than David Foster Wallace or Zadie Smith? Why is this suggested. The writer himself has indicated that he read Pynchon after he'd written You Bright and Risen Angels (http://www.centerforbookculture.org/interviews/interview_vollmann.html).
Book articles created
I have created several articles on Vollmann novels. They're only stubs at the moment, but I invite everyone interested to expand the articles -- and hopefully create articles for the other Vollmann books as well. 23skidoo 18:59, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

July 2009, recent changes
Reverting an editor's changes--not unexplained deletions, but changes--without conscientiously examining them, simply because the edits lack a summary, seems to me to be uncivil and fails to presume good faith. The reverted changes did in fact correct at least one error (the publication date of An Afghanistan Picture Show) and added two verifiable pieces of information (the title and publisher of the forthcoming book [1] and the publication of the short story [2]) and so should have been given more consideration on that basis alone. I have restored the changes, pending discussion, and will add references for the new information.--ShelfSkewed Talk 21:28, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Copyright problem
This article has been reverted by a bot to this version as part of a large-scale clean-up project of multiple article copyright infringement. (See the investigation subpage) This has been done to remove User:Accotink2's contributions as they have a history of extensive copyright violation and so it is assumed that all of their major contributions are copyright violations. Earlier text must not be restored, unless it can be verified to be free of infringement. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions must be deleted. Contributors may use sources as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously.
