Minor comments

[edit]
  • "He was born in Normandy, and some of the later difficulties he had governing England for King Richard I of England may have been due to his differing views of government from the English." - can you be a little clearer? I think you mean that he was raised under a different political system and brought his understanding of politics to Britain, but its not totally clear.
  • "but this is unlikely" - why?
  • "On Richard's accession" - although I know what you mean, perhaps explain this a little more clearly for those unfamiliar with the royal meaning of accession.
  • Northampton Castle, Tickhill Castle and Dover Castle have their own articles, link to them.
  • Decide whether priory should be capitalised or not and be consistant.
  • Capitalise Emperor when referring to a specific one.

Thankyou and congratulations, an excellent addition to Wikipedia:Good Articles. All the best.--Jackyd101 (talk) 00:33, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
