Better alternative?

Duh
[edit]If this is an accurate replica, this was just a fast-firing breech loaded gun. Surely it was revolutionary for its time by that feature alone, but not substantially different from the de:6-Pfünder-Feldkanone C/61 for example. It inclusion in Chinn's 1951 machine gun book is pretty questionable, especially the name he gave it—"Williams Machine Gun". 86.121.18.17 (talk) 18:45, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
