Windglider material failures[edit]

I got a new Windglider in 1982. After several years, the hull started deforming with small and moderate sized indentations mostly on the bottom. I quickly learned that this was happening to all Windglider hulls because the foam inside the hull was reacted with the polymer resin based outer shell of the hull. Although the Windglider had been chosen for the 1984 Olympics, they seem to have gone out of business shortly after that due to these hull failures. This seems to me a significant aspect of this sailboard brand and company that could be included. 99.147.202.247 (talk) 15:21, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
