External Links

[edit]

Shouldn't most of the external links be removed? They add no value to the article. FFMG 05:19, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of Supported Sites

[edit]

I have tried to find a list of blogging sites supported by Windows Live Writer but was not able to find one. Should we not include a list of sites in this article.
I have tested an blogged on following platforms with Window Live Writer incliding preview with actual blog theme.

  • Windows Live spaces
  • Wordpress.com
  • Bogetery.com
  • BlogEngine
  • Blog.com
  • Blogger.com

File:Wlwriter1.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Wlwriter1.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 19 May 2012

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Wlwriter1.jpg)

Redundant images.

[edit]

188.29.99.205 previously deleted screenshots of the software, these images are no longer up to date and are redundant and should immediately be removed. --Lumia930uploader (talk) 18:35, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.
I assume you are talking about this instance of vandalism?
Redundant? I think so. Outdated? The older the better. They should be deleted because they aren't old enough.

Program has been Open Sourced. New Article or Rename this article?

[edit]

Windows Live Writer has been opened sourced and forked as Open Live Writer. Should we rename this article or create a new article called "Open Live Writer"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by NazmusLabs (talkcontribs) 19:30, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
