Objection to Deletion
[edit]This entry certainly should not be deleted because it's notable as a film starring Cary Grant and Myrna Loy, two of the most prominent performers of the 1930s, who each enjoyed careers spanning decades. Somebody help me here. Upsmiler (talk) 13:48, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
- I agree that the article holds merit on its own and deserves to keep its page status. I don't have the time at the moment. But here's a part of a book that briefly discusses the creation of the story by Nell Shipman, perhaps it could add some substance to the article. [1] P.s. (talk) 15:18, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, that was fascinating and helpful, and I was startled by how accomplished Nell Shipman was when I read about her. Upsmiler (talk) 16:13, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
anyway, i think i found enough sources to establish notability. i'm surprised that no one had mentioned that it was their first film together. it is a pretty lousy movie, though, but it's been written about. — alf.laylah.wa.laylah (talk) 14:10, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, Alf! And you're right, I'd forgotten they later did Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House together. Thanks for putting in this work, it's superb. Upsmiler (talk) 18:03, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
