Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because..did you not see my note on this talk page? It does not meet deletion criteria. Soft redirects are acceptable in this case. --Tinton5 (talk) 03:12, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've declined it for that reason and we have other articles that are set up similarly. Part of the reason for this is that they kept getting vandalized, I think, but in any case I do think that this would be better off taken to MfD rather than a speedy deletion. Just for reference, soft redirects are supposed to be sent to WP:RFD, not MFD, as they tend to have similar issues to regular redirects. - TexasAndroid (talk) 13:58, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
