I have taken the liberty to recreate this article as part of some editing I'm doing on various articles relating to contemporary worship. My reasoning is that firstly no real consensus seemed to exist for merging it about a year ago, and secondly it doesn't really fit well into an article on contemporary worship. Furthermore, this type of software is distinct and specialised and, in my view, sufficiently notable for a brief article separate from presentation program. Hope this doesn't meet with any major objections. Sidefall (talk) 13:44, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think this should be a sub-section of a different article (like Worship Presentations)-->> written by Jawboot << 11:44, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the above comment. There is really no reason for this page to exist. All sorts of groups use presentation software, and I see nothing special about how this group is using it.

Although I agree with the first comment (that this article could be included as a subsection of an article on Worship Presentation), I would strongly disagree with the second comment saying there is nothing different about presentation software designed specifically for worship and that this article's information has no need to exist. This particular vein of software is more specialized and, in many ways, more advanced than presentation software aimed at the general market. The inclusion of DVD control with the ability to set multiple in/out points, multiple versions of scripture, video behind the text and the need for "on the fly" changes that are needed to coordinate with a live worship band are just some of the innovations that have separated this subset of presentation software into it's own category/market. I feel that it would be better if we could merge Worship leader, Worship music, Worship band and Worship presentation program into Christian Worship. If not, I suggest that we create an article on Modern Christian worship and merge the four articles into that one. Would've done it myself, but am looking for a general consensus. Please reply on this talk page. aJCfreak yAk 06:47, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like the idea and would be in favor of the merging these four into Modern Christian worship. Alancookie 04:57, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, I've copied your comment to the main Christian worship article. Let's continue the discussion there, to avoid possible confusion. aJCfreak yAk 16:24, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
