Revoked Redirect
[edit]The redirect to X Window System seems inappropriate with information loss and lack of attribution. Should it be felt necessary in future it should considered for a merge then please follow WP:MERGEPROP with possible contestation into XFree86. Thankyou. First implementation for PC Compatibles??
[edit]I object to the first sentence here. The release history for the X Window System here on wikipedia claims X10 in 1985 ran on MSDOS on a PC/AT. That would make X386, released 4 years later, decidedly *not* the first implementation of the X Window System on PC compatibles. 75.188.220.130 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 17:07, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
