I do not agree about merging this page because this page is about the term not the state of NS.Wai Hong 12:46, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, merging does not make sense. The title Yang di-Pertuan Besar is not unique to Negeri Sembilan as other Malay states and Indonesia uses it. I am removing the merge tag. --Eqdoktor 09:53, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
"the Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies was styled: Yang Mulia Sri Paduka Yang Dipertuan Besar" Having read the source, I concluded that Sri Padoeka Jang Dipertoean Besar was just a translation of the Dutch style: Zijne Excellentie, "His Excellence", which subordinated to the Dutch monarchs.
