spellings[edit]

The spelling for Yelandur needs to be standardized througout the article. I am hereby choosing Yalandur since it is the closest phonetic rendition, rather than the anglicized Yelandur. Prashanthns (talk) 11:56, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chola Temple?[edit]

History section says in 1550 A chola ruler built GowriShankara temple. But as I understand history, in 1550s entire south india was ruled by Vijayanagara empire. is there a historical error here in this section? Lokesh 2000 (talk) 13:12, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
