Talk:Yellowbook
Page change
[edit]I changed this page because Yellow Book USA was not 'spun-off' from McLeod USA as the previous version indicated; McLeod USA sold its directory publishing division to Yellow Book, which was already an existing company. 22:16, 13 July 2006 User:C0ncept
Image copyright problem with Image:Yellowbook logo.png
[edit]The image Image:Yellowbook logo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

An anon editor
[edit]In a recent edit, anonymous user 12.175.119.20 stated that he "Removed innaccurate edits, mostly regarding distribution." [sic] It would appear that he removed ALL information regarding distribution, sales practices, environmental issues and just about everything else, leaving what is basically a self-serving 'advertisement' for Yellow Book.
Rather than delete what was stated in the expanded article, it would be more useful if he could add his own view of Yellow Book's distribution practices or environmental practices, etc. Or, if he believes there was a specific factual error, then please contribute by adding a more accurate version. Please note that some of the distribution information in the 'expanded' article (which you deleted) came directly from Yellow Book's official website.
