Merge Hangwa (yugwa) into this article?
[edit]Hi! I noticed that the content of the Hangwa (yugwa) article is entirely reproduced here, save for pronunciation and a few references. Should Hangwa (yugwa) be merged into this article? Thanks! Noah Kastin (talk) 01:46, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
- If there are no objections, I will merge the Hangwa (yugwa) article into this article, following the guidelines set out by WP:PROMERGE. Noah Kastin (talk) 05:51, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- I just did this merge (steps 1-2 and 4). If there are any objections, please state them here. Thanks! Noah Kastin (talk) 09:17, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- It seems that step 3 of the merging process was unnecessary in this case (see Wikipedia talk:Merging#Confusing text in "How to merge, step 3": 3/10/17 for an explanation of why it was unnecessary), so now steps 1-4 have been completed. Thanks, Mindfrieze, for the advice on step 3! Noah Kastin (talk) 02:15, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Edit summary wiki-markup mistake at Hangwa (yugwa)
[edit]Hi! I accidentally made a mistake in the wiki-markup of the edit summary for the most recent edit to Hangwa (yugwa) (as of March 10, 9:21 AM, UTC), where, instead of writing a pair of double brackets [[ and ]] , I accidentally omitted one: [ and ]]
How do I fix this, and am I violating CC BY-SA if I can't? (The edit summary was required by CC BY-SA, as it was the edit summary for a merger.)
Thanks! Noah Kastin (talk) 09:21, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- I just reverted the edit, made the article a redirect, and, after a slight mishap when trying to replace it with the correct edit summary, reverted it again. Then, I made the article a redirect yet again. This time, I think I actually got the edit summary right. I also made a dummy edit, pointing to this discussion to explain why the double reversion and subsequent mergers occurred. Hopefully, this should explain all that. If I did anything wrong or anyone has any objections, please let me know here. Thanks! Noah Kastin (talk) 09:41, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- By the way, if most recent redirect doesn't count as the "official" one, what I did to try to fix the discrepancy wouldn't work. Noah Kastin (talk) 09:43, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
