this castro and video game section should at least have it's own heading. SMP GE 11:31/07/25/06 CET

okay, done --Artistica 22:10, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I liked the game they had on that website. On my first go, I scored 1270 red cards. Scott Gall 10:16, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Zinedine Zidane facts

[edit]

All the facts have been moved to my new subpage. Scott Gall 04:46, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

the insult

[edit]

when communicating to zidane, does Materazzi use french or italian?

Materazzi used Italian (wich is understood by Zidane) and, seeing the images I noticed that he said "quella puttana di tua sorella". --Gaúcho

I translated it on Babelfish and it translates to that whore of your sister. --Scott Gall 05:08, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WC2006 Patch

[edit]

Is there really a group of hackers who are gonna add a patch to 2006 FIFA World Cup of Zidane's headbutt? Please clarify. Hoodie 10:41, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That would own. I'd buy it just for that. Superior1 19:24, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do we really need this article!?

[edit]

Seriously, we could merge this whole thing into Zinedine Zidane. There's no sense in having a separate article over one event when the event description is already in the Zidane's article. --Targetter (Lock On) 02:06, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No kidding. All the pertinent factual information is already contained on the Zidane page. We should just delete this article.--DaveOinSF 15:46, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And if we do keep this article, the picture problem can be resolved by preventing User:Jtrainor from reverting the picture back to its "internet meme" form. The original picture listed in its history was perfectly fine. --Targetter (Lock On) 02:47, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm done fiddling it now, I just wanted to leave it up for a day or so as a joke. :p Jtrainor 14:05, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This article is a lot about the meme, which is irrelavent to zidane apart from the fact he featured in it. This is more about the hype that followed I think, than the actual incident. Philc TECI 19:22, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I redirected the page to Zinedine Zidane, everything relevant is already described at Zinedine Zidane#Confrontation with Marco Materazzi. Krimpet 00:47, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Fidel image

[edit]

Could someone re post the image of zidane 'hitting fidel'? I do realize is not too encyclopedic, but it sure was one of the funniest things on this pedia. If you don't wanna put it in the article, please tell me where I can find it on my talk page or something. thxs in advance!Nnfolz 23:03, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Irwin game

[edit]

This might be a bit tragic to even think about, but the Zidane headbutt game should be parodied. We could have a stingray trying to get as many Steve Irwins as possible, and afterwards, instead of a photo of Zidane being red-carded, we could change it to one of Steve Irwin on his back saying "Crikey!" just after the incident. Scott Gall 04:10, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you suggesting we make games out of how a much repsected wildlife fantaic was killed? Philc TECI 21:34, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Or we could always do one where Tana Umaga has to hit as many Chris Masoes as possible with a handbag. Scott Gall 03:40, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've got more ideas for a Zidane headbutt game parody. There could be one with a British rugby player single-handedly responding to a "99 call." (See 1974 British Lions tour to South Africa for more info on the 99 call.) Or maybe Floyd Landis having to get as many testosterone doses as he can grab. Scott Gall 05:17, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have another idea. How about Janet Jackson flashing her breast at members of the FCC? Instead of red cards, we could have a counter which records a "fine" of up to $100 per opponent. 218.101.117.147 05:03, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Surely referring to that as "satisfying" can't be NPOV. As satisfying as it might have been ... 81.104.170.167 23:19, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
