Teatro Maria Matos is a theatre in Lisbon, Portugal. It opened its doors to the public on 22 October 1969 in honor of an actress of great prestige, Maria Matos. Its current artistic director is Mark Deputter.[1]

The construction of the structure was undertaken by the architect Fernando Ramalho. It has recently undergone reconstruction by Barros da Fonseca.

On 24 September 1982, the theater was purchased by the city of Lisbon.

The musical Cabaret, a Broadway success that led to the film Cabaret, was the highlight of the theatre program for 2008, and debuted on September 4, 2008.
