TechKnow is a 30 minute program based on technology and science shown internationally on Al Jazeera English and formerly on Al Jazeera America. The show showcases bright spots and innovations in the world of science and technology in the United States and how they are changing lives. Segments are recorded in the field by a group of young, tech-savvy contributors with diverse backgrounds in science and technology. The show is hosted by Phil Torres and co-hosted depending on the episode by Cara Santa Maria, Kosta Grammatis and others. All the hosts have backgrounds in science and technology. TechKnow was co-created by Executive Producers Steve Lange and Roland Woerner.

The main setting for the show is Republic Of Pie in North Hollywood, California.

TechKnow was shown on Al Jazeera America at 6:30pm eastern time on Saturday with repeats throughout the week. Internationally, the show was shown on Al Jazeera English, making TechKnow the first Al Jazeera America originated show to be shown on Al Jazeera English and the second Al Jazeera America produced show after Fault Lines which Al Jazeera America assumed control of in 2013. The show is now shown on Al Jazeera English and is the only Al Jazeera America originated show to continue past the end of the network.
