Theodore George "Ted" Karras III (born March 15, 1993) is an American football guard for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Illinois.[1]

Professional career

Karras was drafted by the Patriots in the 6th round (221st overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft.[2] He made the Patriots 53-man roster and was the starter at right guard in the season opener against the Cardinals due to the injuries of Shaq Mason and Jonathan Cooper.

Personal Life

Karras is the grandson of the late Ted Karras, Sr. and the son of former NFL player Ted Karras, Jr.. His great uncle is the late Alex Karras, a four time Pro Bowler with the Detroit Lions and actor in the 1980s sitcom Webster.[3]
