Template:AfC submission/created/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template is used for when {{AfC submission}} is transcluded in the Article Space.

What to do if you see this template[edit]

There are multiple reasons why you may be seeing this template in the article space. The most common reasons are:

  1. The AFC reviewer did not remove the template after accepting the draft. This could happen due to a manual accept or an AFC helper script error.
  2. The draft was moved to the Article space without being formally reviewed (i.e. a manual move).
  3. The page is a copy/paste of an existing draft.

In the first instance, all that is needed is to remove the {{AfC submission}} template and any other AFC-related templates at the top of the page. Otherwise, please review the page and take appropriate action. This could include any of the following:

  • Remove the template because the article was moved into article space by a non-reviewer, but should be in article space (i.e. it is an acceptable page).
  • Move the article back into draft space, leaving the template(s) on as a review record. Note that this is sometimes controversial and should not be done more than once.
  • Nominate the article for deletion.
  • Tag the article for speedy deletion.
