Description[edit]
{{Lighthouse Digest}} is a template used to generate an external link to an entry in Lighthouse Digest's online Lighthouse Explorer Database.
Usage[edit]
In an article, this template should only be used in the "External links" section.
Basic usage[edit]
The required parameter is the ID number. The template then uses the article title as the anchor text:
* {{Lighthouse Digest|ID}}
Example:
* {{Lighthouse Digest|1051}} will, when placed in the external links section of Krynica Morska Lighthouse, display as
- Krynica Morska Lighthouse in Lighthouse Digest's Lighthouse Explorer Database
Named usage[edit]
If the article title includes a disambiguator, or if the template is used on a page with a title that differs from the lighthouse, it may be preferred to specify the anchor text with the second parameter:
* {{Lighthouse Digest|ID|NAME}}
Example:
* {{Lighthouse Digest|4788|Cape Bolinao Lighthouse}} will, when placed in the external links section of Bolinao, Pangasinan, display as
- Cape Bolinao Lighthouse in Lighthouse Digest's Lighthouse Explorer Database
