This template returns a chart of the High Priests of Israel, beginning with Abraham, ordered by patrilineal descent.

  • The parameter |hideafter=, if provided, hides entries after the one whose number in the list is provided.
  • If provided a value, the parameter |showSashai= turns on display of an additional entry for Sashai ben Abishua, which is not shown by default.
  • If provided a value, the parameter |noChart= will suppress the chart enclosure, instead returning a plain ordered list.
