Template:WPAnimation-invitation/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage[edit]

A key part of having an active, effective project or task force is increasing the member size. Here's some information on inviting members.

  • Look for members who have contributed to animation related topics. They can be high-profile topics, such as The Simpsons, or low-profile like a media based on animated series, etc. You can also find them new articles at User:AlexNewArtBot/AnimationSearchResult.
  • Check the history log to see what sort of contributions users have made.
  • Go to talk pages. Users who comment on talk pages are more likely to be significant contributors. You can confirm this by checking their list of contributions.

Once you've found the member you wish to invite, add the template to their talk page with

{{subst:WPAnimation-invitation}}

or

{{subst:WPAnimation-invitation/CN}} (Cartoon Network)

You can specify an article they have contributed to significantly using {{subst:WPAnimation-invitation|art=Article name}}

Once the user has joined, make sure you make them feel welcome. All new members should receive a {{subst:WPAnimation-welcome}} on their talk pages.
