My reasoning in removing Japan campaign is that I think we should follow the Allied commands/theater definitions in campaignboxes and "Japan" therefore should be separate from "Pacific Ocean". The Volcano and Ryūkyū Islands campaign, Iwo Jima and Okinawa could be in both as they were under Nimitz's Pacific Ocean Areas (command), whereas the Japan campaign operations (US strategic bomber units, Operation Downfall etc) were under the direct control of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.Grant65 | Talk 03:54, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
