How necessary is this template, do you think? I don't think it's really that useful.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 17:37, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- Check out the pages it's transcluded in so far. Frequently people visit them wanting to remove encyclopedic images, so I felt a pretty, concise warning should help reduce people rehashing the same points and possibly prevent some vandalism to their respective pages from people blanking off images, text, and content. --slakr\ talk / 10:13, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that the tag is not needed/useful. Censorship is in the eye of the beholder. This tag can too easily be used to justify a particular point of view. "See, the tag even says "no censorship", so you can't remove what I put in in."
- Instead of this tag, we should simply trust editors to discuss content decisions, and to follow the normal dispute resolution if they have difficulty agreeing. Johntex\talk 05:27, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
