I would like to add the code |certweek={{{certweek|}}}|position={{{position|}}}
between the current certmonth
and region
values; {{Cite certification}} has recently been changed to support certweek
and position

Can someone please add {{{certyear}}}
to {{#tag:ref...|name=...{{{type}}}{{{certyear}}}CertRef}}
? In some rare cases like Greatest Hits (Waylon Jennings album)#Certifications, it creates cite error. Error explanation: The album got RIAA Gold certificate on 1979 and then got a 5x Platinum in 2002. But both cite certification template calls for those two certificates have the name "United StatesWaylon JenningsGreatest HitsalbumCertRef" for the ref tag, causing cite error for different citations with the same name. Thanks. Jeeputer Talk 14:28, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
- Here is another example of this issue. Jeeputer Talk 20:54, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
- Both examples were fixed by [this edit] and [this edit] using the
|refname=
parameter to change the reference name. So a new|certyear=
parameter doesn't appear to be needed. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 23:58, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
