Reworded hook[edit]

@PFHLai:, I'm hoping you could explain how the wording of the hook used on the main page came about? "... that Emma Dench, a British classicist and the McLean Professor of Ancient and Modern History at Harvard University, appeared in a film alongside her aunt Judi Dench in 1968?" isn't any of the three hooks that were okayed by @J Milburn:. Thanks, Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 23:03, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I thought they were all okayed. I was looking for a wordy hook, so I merged the 1st hook and ALT2 to make a long one. Problem? --PFHLai (talk) 01:06, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I presumed that was the case. Is this something that happens on a regular basis? I've never seen it happen to any of my other DYKs or to DYKs that I've reviewed. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 13:37, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late response. As far as I know, once hooks gets to the prep areas, hooks often get tweaked. As long as it's not going against the approval, or worse, introducing unapproved materials, it should be to tweak. --PFHLai (talk) 02:05, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
