Template talk:Editnotices/Page/List of accidents and incidents involving commercial aircraft
{{editprotected}} Please append "Entries in draft form may be placed in the Holding zone until ready for use." to the notice.LeadSongDog come howl 17:01, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- This seems fairly uncontroversial, but perhaps that's not the case. As it's fairly certain that almost no one watches this page, could you please post to a more visible page (e.g., Talk:List of accidents and incidents on commercial aircraft) and make sure that no one objects? Is it in fact standard practice to use the holding zone? Once you've done that either ping me or put the editprotected template back and someone should deal with this straightaway. Suggest a slight change to the descriptions...
[edit]The descriptions "Only commercial aircraft larger than 10 passengers are includable. Only accidents with cargo aircraft larger than 10 tons are includable." are slightly ambiguous.
Suggest:- 1. Only commercial aircraft capable of carrying more than 10 passengers. 2. Only cargo aircraft with maximum takeoff weight of 10 tons or more.
As many cargo aircraft can also adapt to carrying passengers, does this mean that a cargo plane weighing less than 10 tons takeoff weight but carrying 11 passengers can be included? Please advise. --Cyber Fox (talk) 10:05, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
