I believe that this template is a very good idea, but can become even more useful after some minor modifications:
To include the Fourier analysis article since it presents an overview of the basic idea of the Fourier transform
To indicate the level of mathematics which is needed to understand the presentation in each of the articles listed in the template. This allows the "accidental" reader to quickly find some information at the introductory level if by chance having stumbled into the more detailed articles.
