Number of diplomatic relations as of 4 May 2017

As of 9 January 2017 the Holy See maintained diplomatic relations with 182 states (179 UN member states + Taiwan, Cook Islands and Palestine) [1]. On 4 May 2017 Myanmar and the Holy See agreed to establish diplomatic relations.[2], bringing the total number to 183 (180 UN member states + Taiwan, Cook Islands and Palestine).
