Weather box[edit]

I don't know where to put this message, but I think I did everything right but on the nevada, missouri page, I tried to make a weather box and I did it wrong, can you tell me how to fix it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wakeboardin (talkcontribs) 17:28, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Oh, sorry. I thought because of the different colors, it was some kind of test, and therefore I reverted your edit. Gugganij (talk) 17:34, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Oh, I forgot to sign my last message, sorry about that. Anyways thank you for putting the closing bracket on the weather box. Now I know how to make them!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. ShareMap mapping[edit]

Hi Gugganij, I saw that you use ShareMap maps in several articles. If you need any assistance with ShareMap please let me know.

Meanwhile if you can I will be very happy if you can add your support in this discussion: meta:Talk:Interwiki_map#ShareMap

We opened request of adding ShareMap to list of sites that are available using Interwiki links, and any support voice is warmly welcome (you can add your comment or just I support or +1). We believe that adding ShareMap to interwiki will make linking easier.

I will be also very happy if you can add yourself to the list of ShareMap users here : commons:User_talk:ShareMap/ShareMap_users

We are applying for Wikimedia Foundation grant and we need to prove that people are really using ShareMap to enrich their articles.

Speedy deletion nomination of Eparchy of Saint Basil the Great of Bucharest[edit]

Hello Gugganij,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Eparchy of Saint Basil the Great of Bucharest for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Johny 547 (talk) 19:24, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Part of the mass[edit]

According to Mass (music), Agnus Dei is normally the last part of compositions of the mass, no? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:50, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

Ah, that was a misunderstanding. I thought of mass in the liturgical sense, for which the music is arranged. You are of course right, in most cases the Agnus Dei is the last of the composition of the mass. Gugganij (talk) 22:15, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

Apology[edit]

I must apologize for the bad mistake I made in trusting my memory, and deciding to respond to a message on my talk page before dealing with changes on my watchlist. I did not have the Annuario Pontificio to hand when I replied. I see now that it puts "Vietnam" in italics, as for the few countries for which it gives apostolic delegates. I don't know whether that materially alters your judgement on whether to consider Vietnam as having "other relations". My opinion is still that the Vietnamese government's agreement to the appointment of a non-resident representative (to the government, surely) does mean "other relations". The Annuario gives Archbishop Girelli as "Rappresentante Pontificio" for Vietnam, not as "Delegato Apostolico", as for instance Archbishop Tschang for Laos. The italics for "Vietnam" are quite logical: there aren't (yet?) diplomatic relations.

I have just noticed another thing. Archbishop Mamberti has given a talk in Australia on "the diplomatic activity of the Holy See" (the text in English may yet be available only on a link that Wikipedia blacklists). He speaks of "the State of Palestine" as having a mission to the Holy See. I don't have the 2014 Annuario, but the 2013 edition (p. 1361) speaks instead of the PLO ("Organizzazione per la Liberazione della Palestina"). The Holy See seems to have at least implicitly recognized the State of Palestine: see, for instance, this. And the map we discussed seems to me to use the light green colour for the State of Palestine. In that case, Vietnam is not the only area with that colour. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Testaccio[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:Testaccio requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

I created a new category, consistent with all the other Rome's neighborhoods, noticing too late that this category already existed. A move could have been better, sorry

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
