[edit]

This Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority template has been completely revised recently to encompass all parks in Metro Detroit. It should either be renamed with the HCMA logo removed or returned to its original focus with a separate template for all parks. Personally, I feel the original intent of easy navigation and identification among the specific metro parks has been destroyed in its current incarnation. There are significant parks which are not under the metroparks authority.Thomas Paine1776 (talk) 20:01, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but the point was that this template wasn't the "Significant Parks in Detroit" template. I don't mind such a template, but I felt your original edit with no name change and retention of the HCMA logo was akin to someone expanding the Template:Detroit (which I started, lest you think I'm somehow being unfair to Detroit) to include Flint and Ann Arbor because, hey, they're significant in Michigan, too. Agree, the logo was taken out. Sure, let's include significant Flint and Ann Arbor parks if there are any I've missed.Thomas Paine1776 (talk) 21:22, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
