Bottom link should be Carboniferous, not Pennsylvanian, since Permian and Carboniferous are periods, while Pennsylvanian is a sub-period, see stratigraphy.org PDF charts (ICS). Said: Rursus () 06:17, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed! Devonian was correct, however. Said: Rursus () 06:20, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Color Revert to USGS Colors

[edit]

Can you people revert these colors to the USGS Colors. So that the colors on the Geological History and the Geologic Time scale template's color correspond to this templates colors. 24.218.110.195 (talk) 22:00 9 March 2013 (UTC) 5:00pm 03/09/2013 EST.

Could you elaborate why you think that change should be done? --Tobias1984 (talk) 09:00, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Read above in the second sentence in the top thing "So that the colors on the Geological History and the Geologic Time scale template's color correspond to this templates colors." Also in every geologic timescale templates that are not USGS also need to be changed to the USGS colors. 24.218.110.195 (talk) 00:17 11 March 2013 (UTC) 8:17pm 03/10/2013 EDT.
I think the ICS colors are used throughout Wikipedia and a simple "because I want it to be that way" reason is a little insufficient to change probably over a hundred templates. --Tobias1984 (talk) 06:50, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Order

[edit]

This is in descending order. Shouldn't it be in ascending order? --150.101.222.216 (talk) 04:07, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
