Match with GA fail criteria

[edit]

@Retro: A concern has been raised by Chiswick Chap at Wikipedia talk:Good article criteria#Mismatch that this template doesn't accurately reflect the criteria. I think this could be useful, is it possible to make it more clearly align with the criteria. AIRcorn (talk) 02:19, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Aircorn: This template is not as new as you imagine: I originally created this template by merging several similar templates.
I guess those templates might have fallen slightly out of line with the guidelines over time, so a renovation probably makes sense. I'm on a bit of a wiki hiatus at the moment, but I might be able to look into it later today or tomorrow; otherwise, someone else will have to do it. I see. You may be able to link it in with the official page Wikipedia:Good article criteria/GAC here using {{Wikipedia:Good article criteria/GAC|0a}} or something similar. Unfortunately I am not a template editor. AIRcorn (talk) 19:57, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
