As of today, Gulf Air has changed its visa policy provider from Timatic to Sherpa. It would seem that a dwindling number of airlines are using Timatic for visa requirement information, and are instead turning to other providers (e.g Sherpa and Smartvel) that aggregate visa policies directly from government sources.

I'm aware that Emirates still uses Timatic for its visa requirement information, so there's still that... but if Emirates also switches to another provider... what then? JaventheAldericky (talk) 13:50, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
