What on earth? VAC and SteamID are the only Steam tech articles in this template. The rest are other things entirely - integrated, yes, but not derived from or a part of. --Tom Edwards 16:53, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- I'm undoing all of the edits that added this template to articles until someone better explains its use. --Tom Edwards 16:54, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
See Template talk:Half-Life --frothT 19:58, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- OK. I'm going to more and rename it to "Valve Software technology" instead. That should be more agreeable. --Tom Edwards 10:30, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Unnecessary - the Half-Life template already has all the information this article includes. I propose deletion. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.196.79.125 (talk • contribs).
- This doesn't qualify as a speedy deletion so I have removed the tag. Please see WP:TFD if you wish to nominate it for deletion. Also, please be careful when tagging templates for speedy deletion. The tag needs to go inside <noinclude></noinclude> tags otherwise the speedy delete tag will be applied to all articles using the template (as happened in this case). Thanks. -- JLaTondre 20:04, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Add Portal games to Half-Life series?
As of my understanding, they do take place in the Half-Life storyline, Black Mesa is mentioned a few times. Mjs961 (talk) 01:00, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Requesting deletion
I've added this to the Template:Valve games and will replace/combine all usages of it soon. Can we remove this page now that it's irrelevant? -Nicereddy (talk) 00:14, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Why? There is a link on this page to a discussion where the consensus was quite explicitly not to merge. Samwalton9 (talk) 00:19, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
