I was looking at the final tally and "Based on total valid points for all regions" confused me/wasn't very clear. How is that calculated?
Also, I noticed User:Naa2Darkoa successfully made it in the main winning category and the "other" sections too. Previously we didn't have female participants doing well enough to win in the main sections so the "other" was meant to encourage those who at least participated, but since that circumstance has changed I'm not sure what adjustments could be made there, so that we can have as many females as possible wining somthing from there. -Masssly (talk) 22:28, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Masssly: The total valid points is calculated by adding all the points the user was awarded from the jury. There were some editors especially the females, who made contributions just because they wanted to do something but the edits they made had to be reverted because they were not needed. For instance, some removed info box from articles and it had to be re-added. Others just copied and pasted the employment sections from the reference sites. Although these contributions were not valid they do add up to their contributions.
Secondly, we have readjusted the awards table so we can award as many female contributors as possbile.Celestinesucess (talk) 11:51, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
