The Native Sound is an independent record label based in New York City. It was founded in 2013 by Julio Anta.[1] The label has released a number of Dream pop, Shoegaze and Folk music releases on cassette tape, limited edition vinyl, and digital download. Among The Native Sound' signed bands are John Vanderslice, Andrew Koji Shiraki,[2] Miserable,[3] King Woman, Funeral Advantage,[4] Plastic Flowers,[5] Sheer,[6] Drowse[7] and Vow.[8]
