The Notebook (Hungarian: A nagy füzet) is a 2013 Hungarian drama film directed by János Szász. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.[2][3] The film was selected as the Hungarian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards,[4] making the January shortlist.[5]
