The Penelope EP is an EP by Shabutie, released in 1999.

The second EP by Shabutie features five songs played by the band back in the late 1990s. Penelope is one of the two Shabutie EPs with songs not repeated or played as Coheed and Cambria (the other is the Plan to Take Over the World). The band members at this time were Claudio Sanchez on vocals and guitar, Nate Kelley on drums and backing vocals and Michael Todd on bass. Travis Stever would rejoin the band as the band's second guitarist after this recording was completed. Shabutie's heavier songs ('Kinderwhore' and 'Godfather's Lollipop' in this case) had the tendency to include sexually explicit lyrics. This album was released after the success of their first EP Plan to Take Over the World but did not fare as well due to the limited availability of the album. It is rumored that only 42 copies of this album exist. [citation needed]
