The Riverview Hotel is a pub in the suburb of Balmain in the inner-west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.

Australian swimming champion Dawn Fraser was publican of the Riverview from 1978 to 1983.

History

Between 1888 and 1913 the pub was named Bergin's Hotel after the publican Joseph Bergin. In late 2008, after renovation, it reopened.

Architecture

The Riverview hotel is a heritage listed building of local significance. It is a corner building built in the Arts and Crafts style with distinctive brick work details. It was remodelled again c1909.
