The Tortured is a 2010 mystery horror-thriller film directed by Robert Lieberman and written by Marek Posival.[1]
Plot
The film tells the story of a couple whose life is broken when a serial killer kidnaps their only son and kills him. The psychotic wife blames her husband. In order to obtain revenge, the couple kidnap and torture the serial killer.

Production
The Twisted Pictures stars Erika Christensen, Bill Moseley and Jesse Metcalfe in the leads.[2] It based on the screenplay Act of Redress by Czech screenwriter Marek Posival and was directed by Rob Lieberman.[3] The scenes of Paz Fuels truck stop was shot in Langley, British Columbia and the others scenes in Vancouver, British Columbia.[4] Mark Burg, Oren Koules, Carl Mazzocone and Marek Posival produced the film for Twisted Light Productions.[5] In minor roles played Zak Santiago, Lynn Colliar, Chelah Horsdal and Fulvio Cecere.[6] The role of Kozlowski was originally planned with Charlie Sheen, but he left the project 30 June 2008.[7]
Release
Eclectic Film Sales released the film on November 8, 2009 over the American Film Market.[8] It has his European career as part of the 2010 FrightFest.[9] The UK DVD and Blu-Ray release is set for the August 30, 2010.[10]
Soundtrack
The multi-instrumentalist Jeff Rona composed the score.[11]
