The Undateables is a British documentary series that has aired on Channel 4 since 3 April 2012 and is narrated by Sally Phillips. The series follows people who have disabilities and learning difficulties on dates.

Reception

Before the show had even aired the name "undateables" was met with controversy. The idea that people with physical or mental disabilities were considered "undateable" was branded "offensive" and "horrible" by doctors and Twitter users.[1] A spokesman for the show later claimed the title was actually a reflection of what the public thinks, not the show.
