Thuravoor Viswambharan was a vedic scholar,[1] active social worker and writer from the Thuravoor village in the southern state Kerala in India. He was an expert professor on Hindu epics Ramayana, Mahabharatha and Vedas.[2] He was a professor in Malayalam, Sanskrit, Indian Mythology and Vedic Science at the prestigious Maharaja's College Ernakulam, Cochin. He was the state president of Tapasya Kala Sahithya Vedi and the founder president of Vishwa Samvad Kendra Kerala.He used to deliver lectures on different Hindu epic, vedic and science topics in Amrita TV in a programme called 'Bharatha Dharsanam', and the discourse and discussion is from 07.30 to 08.00 AM.

Thuravoor Viswambharan was candidate for Kerala Legislative Elections at Thripunithra Legislative.He was a candidate for BJP,Prime Minister Narendra Modi came for his Election Campaign.

He was awarded with Balagokulams' Janmashtami Puraskar by Murali Manohar Joshi in Kochi was the last one received among many honors.
