Tino Chrupalla (born 14 April 1975) is a German politician, member of the Bundestag since 2017, and co-chairperson of the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) since 2019.[1]
Life and politics
Chrupalla was born 1975 in East German Weißwasser and passed his master exam (Meisterprüfung) as House painter and decorator in 2003.[2]
Chrupalla entered 2015 into the AfD and defeated the later Minister-President of Saxony Michael Kretschmer in the electoral ward of Görlitz [ de ] in the 2017 German federal election.[3]
He is one of 5 vice chief whips of the AfD federal parliamentary group.[4]
